Customize the storefront widget
Everything here is done in the theme editor, on the RebillCart Subscription Widget block’s settings panel — no code required. See Add the storefront widget first if you haven’t added the block yet.
Change the purchase-option layout
- Open Online Store → Themes → Customize and select the RebillCart block.
- Under Layout, choose a Template:
- Classic — a simple stacked list of options.
- Cards — each option as its own card.
- Comparison — a side-by-side table, good when you’re pushing customers toward the subscribe option by making the savings obvious.
- Tabs — one-time and subscribe as separate tabs.
- Preview each on your actual product page before committing — what reads best depends heavily on how many options a given product has (a plain subscribe product looks very different from one that also offers a monthly box).
Change how frequency is picked
Under Frequency display, choose dropdown, pills, tabs, or cards. Pills and cards show a “Save X%” badge per frequency, computed live from each plan’s real discount — useful if you have multiple frequencies at different discount tiers and want the savings to be obvious at a glance.
Reorder the options
- Row order — flip whether “One-time” or “Subscribe & save” appears first. Putting subscribe first (and pre-selecting it) is a common lever if you want to nudge customers toward subscribing.
- Box order — if the product also has a monthly box option, choose whether it appears above or below the regular subscribe option.
Match your brand
Under Appearance:
- Set the accent color to your brand’s primary color — this drives the selected-option highlight and savings badges.
- Adjust corner radius and card shadow to match the rest of your theme’s components.
- If you want different accents per section (e.g. a different color for the box panel than the frequency picker), set the individual component accent colors — anything left blank inherits the main accent color.
- For anything the visual controls don’t cover, use the Custom CSS field. It’s scoped to just this widget instance, so it can’t leak out and affect the rest of your theme.
Add copy
- Subscribe benefits list — a short bullet list under the subscribe option (e.g. “Free shipping,” “Skip or cancel anytime,” “Priority customer support”).
- Trust row — one line of micro-copy under the subscribe option, e.g. “No commitment — cancel online anytime.”
Verify
After each change, check the live storefront preview, not just the editor preview pane — some themes handle the “Add to cart” click differently, and you want to confirm the correct plan still reaches checkout after a layout or ordering change.
